Today we went to the zoo with NaNa, we had a nice time. It was pretty warm, both boys had rosey cheeks when we left :) Summer is definitely here!

Mother's Day

I have had a nice mother's day. Kurt made breakfast and then we were off to church. Afterwards we tried to go to outback Steakhouse but it was too long of a wait so we headed home. The weather is nice today so we sat outside and had some watermelon. The house is quiet now, Truitt is sleeping and Braden is resting...I'm off to do the same!

The other day I backed out of the garage and hit something - oops! It was Braden's bike - lesson learned, hopefully by the both of us! Not surprisingly it costs just as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one so off we went to Toys R Us. We brought his bike home and since Kurt is in Austin I decided we (meaning me) would put it together. I can follow instructions, I have degree, I can do it - right?! :) It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and Braden helped...a little. We managed to get it together and working (properly), it looks good and he loves riding it!

The Wonderful World of T-Ball

Braden had a t-ball game on Saturday morning. The weather was great and the boys seem to get a better understanding and more desire to play with each game. This was game 3....

Swim Lessons

Below are a few pictures from Truitt's first swim lesson. We are signed up for a few weeks to get him floating on his own and holding his breath. If all goes well we may keep him in long enough to get him started swimming, we'll see. Truitt isn't thrilled about the lessons but as you can see below he is getting the hang of it already :)

The Box Bruisers

I think we're going to start a team! I have had funny looks and stares when I'm out in public. Braden has a black eye from being hit with the end of the hammock (as cousin Camryn was swinging in it) and Truitt has a big cut down his forehead from falling and hitting the edge of the car door on his way down. Boys!
