Family Photo

Braden is the "shooting star" in his class this week, they post a few things about him and ask for a family photo. Hummmm, we attempted one at Easter and I couldn'f find it anywhere on my pc. Below is my pathetic attempt at a "family" photo. I have added "get a GOOD family photo" to my 'to do' list :)

4 months

Blake is 4 months old today...time is passing quickly! As I put away newborn clothes and he gets bigger my heart aches a little but I try to focus on some things I can look forward to as they all get bigger. My heart sometimes says I'd like another baby but my body (and my husband) screams no :) Anyway all that to say we went to the dr this morning, he is 14lbs 5 oz and 25 1/4 inches long - happy and healthy!

Shelly

We found this sweet turtle and named her Shelly. She has such a pretty shell and belly...but as I was looking up how to care for them I read about how little turtles can carry salmonella. The CDC doesn't reccomend having them with children under 5 (maybe I'm the only one who didn't know that?). So Shelly stayed with us for 2 days and then we took her to a good home, lots of trees, water and plenty of other turtle friends.

Easter Eggs

The boys had fun dying eggs - we did it outside, good thing to because it was messy!

3 months

My sweet boy is 3 months old. He is holding his head up real well and likes to be on his tummy. Last week he slept from 9:45 to 6:30, nights are getting better :) I'm not sure why I still look sleepy all day though?!

Sandbox

This past weekend Kurt built a sand box for the boys. We had the sand delivered via dump truck (good entertainment) and Kurt and Chris filled it up. The boys LOVE it and spend loads of time in it!

Braden had a field trip with his class to the Butterfly Museum...Blake and I went along.

2 Months..well almost!

We had our two month visit a few days early. Blake weighed 11lbs 2 oz and was 22 3/4 inches long. He's starting to smile more often...Braden plays peek a boo and that seems to get smiles :)

Potty Training - Round 2

Yesterday Truitt decided he wanted to use the potty - yipee! He was dry ALL day with only one accident at night. He has done fairly well today, not as good as yesterday but hey, I'll take what I can get. This WILL work this time - no turning back with this kind of success :)
